NBA ATLANTA – The Atlanta Hawks signed free agent center Etan Thomas to add bulk in the frontcourt. The 6-foot-10 Thomas spent most of his career with the Washington Wizards but finished last season with Oklahoma City.

Source: Cavaliers GM Chris Grant gets new deal

Cavaliers General Manager Chris Grant agreed to a new five-year deal with the team, according to NBA sources. Grant had three years left on a deal he signed in 2008 after he turned down a chance to become the general manager of the Atlanta Hawks.
